Configuration: Devices/Extensions


The Devices/Extensions tab includes a list of all devices/extensions.  This is also where a new device/extension can be added.  Users can also search for devices/extensions by extension or device name.



Field descriptions/definitions:

Indicator if device is plugged in or not

Voicemail

Indication of voicemail recordings


If "view" is selected next to the recording ICON under Voicemail, a list of recordings will be presented. Recordings can be listened to or saved.




To add a new device/extension, select "+ new device/extension.  Extension and Device Secret are required fields.

            Device Type                                     Type of device; select from softphone or virtual
            Host                                                 Will default to "dynamic"
            Multi Line Profile                              If checked, indicates device/extension is multi line
            Allow non-callcenter Manual Calls   If checked, allows user to dial non-callcenter manual calls
            Allow Voice Mail                               Allows voice mail for device/extension
            Record                                             Select from no recording, all calls, only incoming calls, only outgoing calls
            Ring seconds                                   Number of seconds the phone will ring
            Connection Options
            Domain                                            Domain name; same name entered for Host Name during setup
            Auth Name
            Device Secret Device Secret           Password
            NAT                                                  Defaults "checked"






The edit ICON provides the capability of editing an existing device/extension.





Use edit mode to modify fields previously described as well as configure voice mail.

Voice Mail fields

Mailbox

Mailbox is the same as extension




VM Password

Password assigned to the voicemail box




E-mail

Email address to which recordings will be sent when option is selected

Voicemail locked

Voicemail can be locked





Pager

Pager number can be assigned





Send Notifications by Email
When selected, voicemail recording will be sent to the designated email address
Attach Voicemail

Defaults to "checked"





Allow Calls Returns

When checked, allows for calls to be returned
