Additional Account Disclosures

Additional Account Disclosures

Additional Account Disclosures can be used to customize disclaimers that may vary per Account within the same State or Province.

How to create Additional Account Disclosures
  1. Admins, Managers or Custom Users with view/edit access to the State Disclosures page (Settings > State Disclosures) may create/edit/delete Additional Account Disclosures.

  1. Click + add a new account disclosure within a State or Province.

  1. Note the Identifier that is automatically generated on the new Additional Account Disclosures. This can be changed if needed but it can only contain the following: alphanumeric characters, space, period, dash, underscore. This identifier can be used within the Import file - we'll discuss that further down.
  2. Enter text for the new Additional Account Disclosure and click Submit to save.
  3. Note that the "Spanish" version of the disclaimer is blank unless configured. Click the English drop-down within the selected State or Province and select Spanish. Enter the Spanish version of your Additional Account Disclosure and click Submit to save. Spanish disclaimers are only visible if Multi-Language is enabled on Consumer Portal.

How to apply Additional Account Disclosures
  1. Within Intelligent Negotiator, navigate to the Accounts page. Select the Account in question then click Financial Settings sub-menu. At the bottom of the page, you will see "Additional disclosure" with a related drop-down list. Note that this list only displays Additional Account Disclosures related to the State or Province on the Account.

  1. Select the Additional disclosure list and pick which Additional Account Disclosure should display. If "-" is selected, then Additional Account Disclosure will not display.

  1. You can also apply Additional Account Disclosures via Import File (manual or automatic) by using the new "additional_account_disclosures" CSV column in conjunction with the specific Additional Account Disclosure identifier
  2. Please note that a new CSV column "additional_account_disclosure" has been added to the following pages: Manual Import & CSV columns.

  1. Use the new "additional_account_disclosure" CSV column to apply a specific Additional Account Disclosure identifier to a Master Account on import. If the Master Account contains several sub-accounts, "additional_account_disclosure" identifier only needs to be included on the first row. Note that only one Additional Account Disclosure can be applied per Master Account.

Where will Consumers see Additional Account Disclosure?
  1. If configured correctly, Additional Account Disclosure will display in two places within the Consumer portal: Consumer login confirmation page & payment receipts. Additional Account Disclosure will display below General Disclosure on both pages.

  1. The following tag can be used within Email templates (Settings > Email templates) to relay the Account's configured Additional Account Disclosure within Email correspondence: %additional_account_disclosure%
  2. Note that %additional_account_disclosure% tag and definition has been added to "tags reference" for each Email template.
