Email campaigns allow you to send messages to a list of contacts quickly and efficiently. Each campaign uses a predefined message template, a verified sender address, and a contact list containing recipient email addresses. Once a campaign is launched, delivery results and engagement metrics (opens, clicks, bounces, etc.) can be monitored in real time through reporting tools.
Begin by uploading a contact list.
The process is similar to uploading a call contact list, except phone numbers are not required.
Each record should include an email address, along with any additional data fields you’d like to use as merge tags in your message (e.g., name, account number, etc.).
Next, configure the email address or domain that will appear as the sender.
Navigate to Configuration → Identity Management.
Select New Identity at the top of the screen.
Choose either Domain or Email Address.
If you select 'Email Address', the 'From Name' can also be customized.
The chosen email address must be verified before it can be used in a campaign.
Once the sender identity is verified, set up the message template.
Go to Campaigns → Message Template and select Add New Template.
Enter a Subject Line and compose the Body of the email.
Tags can be used to personalize the message with contact data (e.g., first name, company, balance).
After the contact list, sender address, and template are ready, create the campaign itself.
Navigate to Campaigns → Campaigns, then select New Campaign.
Choose Email as the campaign type.
Assign a Campaign Name, select the From Address, and choose the Message Template to be used.
Click Submit to create the campaign.
Within the campaign settings:
Choose whether to allow recipients to opt out.
Go to 'Who to Send to' and select the uploaded contact list.
Under When to Send, set a specific date and time for the campaign to run.
If no schedule is set, the campaign can be started manually from the campaign screen.
Once the campaign has been launched, review performance and delivery metrics under Reports → Email.
The report displays key details such as:
Total emails sent
Delivery status (delivered, bounced, pending)
Opens and clicks
Bounce reasons (if applicable)
